Cadbury
Why this tastes different to the Cadbury in American shops
Cadbury sold in the United States isn't made by Cadbury. It's made under license by Hershey, to American standards, in American factories. The name on the wrapper is the same. The chocolate inside is not.
Some of that is the law rather than anyone's choice. British milk chocolate has to contain at least 20% cocoa solids. The American standard is 10%. The two countries also permit different fats, which changes how a bar melts as much as how it tastes.
The rest of it people argue about, and I'll leave them to it. What I can tell you is that anyone who grew up with the British version knows within one bite, and that is the whole reason this shop exists.
Everything here comes from the UK, in date, packed by hand, and sent anywhere in the United States.
